Advice and further information
Advice on study-related stays abroad:
Information events
If you are interested in studying abroad, please visit our general information event first. Here we will inform you about the possibilities of a semester abroad at our partner universities as well as the application process, Erasmus+ funding for internships abroad and other opportunities for study-related stays abroad (e.g. as a freemover, in summer schools, etc.). The dates for the information events can be found here.
Consultation hours
Individual counselling on Erasmus+ funding for internships abroad is available during consultation hours or by prior appointment.
What are the advantages of an internship abroad compared to studying abroad?
- Application of what you have learnt during your studies, orientation for further studies
- Plus point on your CV, networking and getting to know prospective employers
- No ties to partner universities, (almost) any institution is possible
- Acquisition of ECTS not compulsory
- Graduate internships also possible (transition between studies and career)
- Not tied to semester times, freely selectable period
- Flexible, application possible up to 6 weeks before the start date
- Intensive contact with locals
