Appointment procedures at Paderborn University are carried out on the basis of the NRW Higher Education Act and the following binding regulations.

Supplementary working aids, checklists, templates and handouts to support the Professorial Appointment Committees are provided centrally in the internal portal KOMO. KOMO serves as a central working platform for the implementation of appointment procedures and ensures that all documents are up-to-date and available in a standardised manner.
