Junior professorships with tenure track
The junior professorship with tenure track is intended to open up attractive career prospects for excellent young academics at Paderborn University. At the end of the successful tenure track procedure, the candidate is transferred to a permanent professorship.
The procedure usually consists of two phases, each of which is concluded by an evaluation of the junior professor. The result of the interim evaluation serves as the basis for the decision on the extension, while the result of the final evaluation serves as the basis for the decision on the continuation of the professorship.
The regulations for quality assurance in tenure-track procedures create a transparent, quality-assured procedure according to uniform and formal standards across the university. If you have any questions about tenure-track procedures, please contact Ms Sabine Müller on 05251 60-2515.
