Content

What are the most common culprits of ineffective or faulty sentences? Would you like to be more proficient at identifying and correcting these issues in your writing?

This course helps graduate students and scholars from all academic disciplines communicate clearly, concisely, and coherently. Through practical exercises and short writing tasks, you will apply course concepts, identify areas for improvement in your writing, learn revision techniques, and refine your editing skills. Additionally, you will receive personalised coaching and feedback on your writing from a native English speaker. The course content will be tailored to the participants’ needs and requests and may include the following topics:

  • advanced tips for clear and concise writing;
  • conveying ideas effectively to facilitate understanding;
  • avoiding common grammatical and word usage errors;
  • revising your writing.

Note: This course builds upon topics and exercises covered in the Academic Writing in English I course; however, it is possible to enrol in this course without having completed Part I.
