I am a final year PhD student advised by Prof. Dr. Yasemin Acar. My research lies in the intersection of Human-Computer Interaction, Security, and Privacy. I am predominantly interested in helping developers and organizations navigate security challenges, and ethical dilemmas they face during development. Besides that, I study security and privacy mental models of underserved users (using qualitative and quantitative methods and social media analysis), particularly in the context of geo-political changes/crises. I also research societal issues that resonate deeply with me. I have published and won awards at top-tier security and HCI conferences (USENIX, IEEE S&P, CHI, CSCW, and SOUPS).
