As a doctor of theology, I am interested in the political dimension of the church in the 19th and 20th centuries as well as in religious practices and celebrations in the early modern period, particularly in the 18th century. I am interested in and fascinated by how religious forms of expression are linked to social and political developments.
My research on the teaching and learning of Mathematics in children focuses on two main areas: I am investigating which mathematics didactic skills early childhood educators need in daycare centres and which mathematical skills children of primary school age need to be able to recognise and question misinformation.
As a fashion and media scientist, I investigate how fashion appears in the media and as a medium. I am particularly interested in digital media technologies, which give rise to phenomena such as digital fashion.
I am researching how process mining methods can be applied to knowledge-intensive processes. I am particularly interested in how LLMs can help to make implicit knowledge visible and usable. In this way, I combine data-driven analyses with modern AI approaches to better understand and support complex processes.
I conduct research on professionalisation and teaching quality in physical education. My focus is on interactions and actions of (prospective) teachers and students in the sports hall and beyond.
